Salisbury Meeting House, although a restored Regency gatehouse, has not been in Quaker use for long. It lies right next to the Wilton Road near the large roundabout close to the Railway Station. To find the car park at the rear turn into Fountain Way, take a left then second left into the carpark. This area has designated disabled parking and access to the Meeting House.
Salisbury Meeting is numerically the largest of our Meetings and as a consequence there is always an air of busyness about the building. This building is also well used by varying groups during the week.
Meetings for Worship take place on Sundays from 10.30 for 1 hour and on Wednesdays from 12.30. for 1/2 hour followed by a bring your own picnic lunch and fellowship time, of course!
Children and young peoples Meetings happen on 2nd.,4th.and 5th Sundays. at the same time as the main MfW.
Finding the Meeting House. Buses from the city centre stop close by. There is an entrance at the front, from Wilton Road and from the rear off Fountain Way as described earlier. The railway station is but a 10 min walk away for those able. Leaving the station approach road stay on the left hand pavement and follow the road under the railway arch and keeping to the left enter Wilton Road after the roundabout for about 100m or so. The MH is on your left.
