All over Britain there are some 380 places for Quaker Meetings to meet and to worship. However, Quakers can Meet for worship anywhere, like any other section of the Church. In Dorset and South Wiltshire we have six buildings associated with our Meetings. On the pages following these they are detailed so that the seeker can find them and if they so wish, visit one of our Meetings for Worship.
Quakers do not bar anyone from attending. very much the opposite in fact. We welcome all who join with us in a quiet hour or so of worshipful silence out of which we hope that any one of us in attendance heeds the guidance given to minister.
"Take heed dear friends to the promptings of love and truth in your hearts. Trust them as the leadings of God whose Light shows us our darkness and brings us to new life" advises the words within the Advices and Queries within Quaker Faith and Practice.
